About the role
As a Maintenance Leader – Tooling, you have overall responsibility for both the daily and long-term maintenance of our production tools, such as stamping and molding tools. You lead a small group of maintenance technicians in the systematic work of planning, executing, and following up on preventive and corrective maintenance. You work data-driven to ensure high operational reliability and minimize disruptions in the tooling flow. The role is both strategic and operational – perfect for you who enjoy combining technology, analysis, and coaching leadership.
Main responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance of production tools.
- Analyze root causes, initiate improvements, and revise maintenance plans based on data.
- Ensure spare parts management and coordinate external suppliers.
- Quality assure performed maintenance and ensure safe working methods and a good working environment.
- Lead and coach the team, including task distribution, skills development, and daily support.
- Follow up on KPIs, maintain a 4-week planning cycle, and work towards set goals and budget.
- Plan larger maintenance efforts, including production stoppages and technical inspections.
Your profile
- You have a technical/workshop education (high school or university level).
- Experience in maintenance work within the industry – preferably with a focus on tools, stamping tools, or similar.
- Good knowledge in systematic troubleshooting, machining, tool assembly, and tuning.
- Familiarity with maintenance systems (we currently work in Maintmaster) and data-driven follow-up.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
- Good IT skills.
- Experience in leadership or work management.
Meritorious
- EFNMS certification as a maintenance leader or technician.
- Previous work as a tool designer or similar.
